“Jus’ a bit. I usually nap when I come ‘ere.” He chuckles to himself.
“We could take a nap then. Seems safe here.” she gave a big yawn.”
“Tha’ sounds like a grand idea..” He yawns again before slowly drifting to sleep.
Aren let out a content sigh and clung closer to him as she closed her own eyes, following him into sleep.
He chuckled and let his hand trail down to her back. “I dunno’ if I shoul’ be worried, now tha’ ya’ can do whate’er ya’ want.”
“Please I am still far to shy to do anything more than kissing right now.”
He turned his head to plant a small kiss on her forehead. “An’ I’m more than happy with tha’, don’ worry.”
She smiled and closed her eyes, listening to the sound of the water and animals in the sanctuary. “I really enjoy spending time with you.”
He stifled a yawn and nodded slightly. “Ya’ do? Well, I’m glad tha’ feelin’ is mutual.”
“Are you tired too?”

Aren smiled soft down at him and pushed her braid back from over her shoulders. She liked the feeling of his rough fingers caressing her skin. “Good, I was a bit nervous you wouldn’t like it.”
“Look, ya’ don’ gotta’ be nervous ‘round me, a’right? Anythin’ ya’ wanna’ do, jus’ do it.” He continued to rub her neck, giving her a comforting smile in the process.
She nodded and kissed him again before laying back down and resting her head on his shoulder. “I will definitely keep that in mind.”
He grins and cups her cheek with one hand. “Someone like me? Wha’, a broody ol’ asshole?”
She leans her head into his hand. “You’re not an asshole. At least to me anyway. I think your sweet.”
“Well, I ain’t a complete asshole. I treat pretty ladies like yerself nice ‘cause ya’ deserve it.” He brushes her lips with his thumb and smiles.
Aren moved up and kissed him soft on the lips for a moment. It had taken her a while to build up the courage but she decided to do it.
Johnny was a little surprised by her initiative, but gently leaned into the kiss, bringing his hand to the back of her neck.
After a long moment she broke the kiss and smiled against his lips. “Hope that was okay?”
“Tha’ kiss? O’course tha’ was okay. Tha’ was great.” He grinned, his fingers gently caressing the nape of her neck.
Aren smiled soft down at him and pushed her braid back from over her shoulders. She liked the feeling of his rough fingers caressing her skin. “Good, I was a bit nervous you wouldn’t like it.”
